Our nose and founder Nadeem Crowe has had adventures. Working simultaneously as a medic in the emergency department and treading the boards of the West End stage, his extensive global travels and passion for the natural world has led him to arrive full circle, back to his true love and his favourite city. The Rook triangle represents Nadeem's three passions; perfumery, medicine and art and the perfect harmony that brings to his life.
Nadeem works as a medical doctor in North London and has had the incredible opportunity to share the stage with Glenn Close in 'Sunset Boulevard' at the ENO and most recently starred in Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'School of Rock."
“For me, fragrance is an essential part of my story, of who I am. Life is all about moments. This is something that is drummed in to you when you train as an actor. Acting is all about creating and recreating moments. That is exactly what fragrance should do too. I want to bottle these moments so that their scent can transport me back to a feeling, a thought or a place. That’s what Rook is all about. That and the highest possible quality ingredients. Nothing is rushed. There are no shortcuts. It takes a long time to bottle a memory”
