Wooden crates

The first of our Rook Scent Experiments.

Our perfumer Nadeem sent an unmarked sample out to those who joined in the experiment. He told the community that the scent was based on a very significant scent memory he had but no notes were disclosed.

Those who received the sample wrote their own note list and story about the scent and guessed what it might based on. Some came very close indeed.

The scent was then disclosed as The Greengrocer. A scent based on the smell of greengrocer's in Nadeem's birth city Amman, Jordan. Fruit, vegetables and spices warm in the sun. Specifically the scent of peach in wooden crates and the green astroturf that lined them.

This scent was sold as a limited edition.

Please note this scent has been reformulated to keep it IFRA friendly but is as close to the original as possible.
